The agreement between you and Titan: your account, what you may and may not do, who owns what you post, what a purchase does and does not buy, and how either side can end it.
Last updated
These terms are the agreement between you and Titan. By creating an account, using an account-only Titan service, or buying something from Titan, you accept them.
In short: you must be 16 or older, hold one account and keep it secure, follow the Rules, keep the rights to what you post but let Titan display it, treat virtual items as a licence rather than property, do not expect a Minecraft server to be permanent, and know that either side can end the arrangement.
Nothing here takes away a consumer right you have by law. Where these terms and a law that protects you disagree, the law wins.
The detail is below, and none of it replaces the Rules or the Privacy Policy — those cover conduct and personal information respectively, and both form part of this agreement.
“Titan” means the Titan Minecraft servers, this website and its forums, the store, and the other official services Titan operates. “You” means the person using them.
These terms incorporate the Rules, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, together with any product-specific terms shown to you before a particular purchase or promotion.
Each document has a job, and the one that addresses a subject in detail governs that subject:
No subordinate document can remove a right the law says you must have.
Together these documents form the agreement covering your use of Titan. They replace earlier Titan terms on the same subject from the date this version takes effect, and they do not replace obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply, and the affected part should be read down only as far as necessary rather than struck out whole.
If Titan does not enforce something immediately, that does not permanently give up the right to enforce it later. Enforcement in one case does not oblige identical action in a materially different one — though moderation should still aim to be consistent and proportionate.
Titan is responsible for its own servers, website, forums, store, moderation, community management, data handling, and support. Questions about a Titan purchase or a Titan service go to Titan, not to Mojang or Microsoft.
Titan does not give you a licence to Minecraft. Where a Titan server requires Minecraft, you must hold a genuine, properly licensed copy and comply with the applicable Minecraft End User Licence Agreement, Microsoft terms, Minecraft Usage Guidelines, and Minecraft Community Standards. Those agreements exist independently of this one.
Titan intends to operate its Minecraft-related store consistently with the Minecraft Usage Guidelines. Titan will not knowingly sell entitlements that give a purchaser a competitive advantage those guidelines prohibit, or that materially spoil other players’ experience contrary to them.
Titan may modify or withdraw a store product where reasonably necessary to comply with a change to Minecraft or Microsoft requirements, applicable law, security requirements, or platform rules. If such a change materially removes something you paid for, see Refunds and your consumer rights.
You must be 16 years of age or older to create or hold a Titan account. Titan applies this globally, including where local law would permit a lower minimum age.
You must not:
A parent or guardian cannot override this by giving permission. It is a minimum age, not a consent requirement.
The account minimum is enforced when the account is created rather than taken on trust afterwards. Direct messages have a separate check that is applied every time it matters, so it lifts by itself rather than needing anyone to act. Both are explained in the Privacy Policy.
You must give an accurate year of birth when you register. An account created with a false one may be removed.
Members aged 16 or 17 may hold an account. Because they remain minors in many places, additional restrictions may apply to purchases, payment methods, private information, safeguarding, and certain communications where the law requires it.
Titan may use reasonable and proportionate measures to establish whether an account holder meets the age requirement. Today that means a declared year of birth and nothing else; what else it could mean, and the limits on it, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
If Titan restricts your account on an incorrect view of your age, you may ask for that decision to be reviewed.
If you are banned from Titan, you may not create another account to get around it. Doing so is ban evasion and is dealt with under the Rules.
One person, one account, unless our moderation team has agreed otherwise. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except where the cause is a security failure Titan is legally responsible for.
You are expected to:
You can end other sessions and change your password from your security settings.
Do not sell, rent, share or transfer your account, and do not deliberately give your credentials to anybody else. An account is a permission to use Titan, not property you own.
Nobody from Titan will ever ask you for your password or a two-factor code.
Titan may limit how many accounts one person holds. The Rules may restrict alternate accounts, accounts made to evade a sanction, accounts used to manipulate votes or reactions, accounts used to collect a reward repeatedly, and other forms of account manipulation.
Sharing a household, school, workplace, network, VPN, mobile connection, or IP-derived signal with another account does not by itself prove that the accounts belong to the same person. Titan weighs more than one kind of evidence before acting.
Your username, display name, profile, and linked Minecraft name must comply with the Rules. You must not deliberately impersonate another member, anybody from Titan, Mojang, Microsoft, another organisation, or a public authority in a way that is deceptive, harmful, fraudulent, or likely to cause confusion.
Titan may reserve or restrict names where reasonably necessary to prevent impersonation.
Linking a Minecraft or Discord account is optional. When you link one, you are telling us it is yours.
Titan grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use its services for their intended purposes, subject to these terms and the Rules. That right transfers no ownership of anything described under What belongs to Titan, and does not let you commercially exploit Titan’s systems or content without permission.
Beyond the Rules, you agree not to:
You must follow the Rules on cheats, hacked or modified clients, macros, automation, bots, duplication, packet manipulation, and unintended game mechanics.
A bug being technically possible to abuse does not make abusing it permitted. If you find a serious exploit, report it privately instead of using it.
Titan may reverse or correct duplicated items, illegitimate currency, exploit-generated assets, fraudulent transactions, and corrupted inventories where that is reasonably necessary to restore the integrity of the game.
You must not bypass Titan’s authentication, reach information you are not authorised to reach, run denial-of-service or destructive tests, extract data, introduce malicious code, or interfere with Titan’s infrastructure.
Finding a genuine vulnerability in good faith is not misconduct. Stop once you have enough to demonstrate the issue, report it privately, and do not access, copy, change, destroy, or publish anybody else’s information along the way.
Some conduct is prohibited whether or not it appears as a separate line in the Rules. You must not use Titan for anything involving:
Titan may act immediately where conduct creates a significant safety, security, legal, or community risk, and may preserve evidence or refer a serious matter to the relevant provider or authority where that is lawful and appropriate.
You must not use Titan to seriously harass, intimidate, threaten, exploit, or target another person.
Disagreement, criticism, competitive gameplay, an ordinary moderation decision, or an isolated moment of rudeness are not automatically serious harassment. Titan weighs severity, repetition, context, intent, impact, any imbalance of power, and attempts to evade a block or a restriction.
Titan does not claim general authority over what you do elsewhere. It may consider off-platform conduct where there is a meaningful connection to Titan — harassment of Titan members connected to Titan, threats involving Titan, punishment evasion, scams targeting Titan members, trafficking in Titan accounts or items, attacks on Titan infrastructure, disclosure of private Titan information, or a serious safeguarding matter.
“Your content” means what you submit or create through Titan: posts, threads, replies, profile information, screenshots, reports, appeals, messages, uploads, feedback, builds, and other material you provide.
You keep whatever rights you lawfully hold in it. Posting it does not transfer it to Titan, and Titan does not claim ownership of your original content merely because you submitted it.
You do grant Titan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, technically process, transmit, display, format, back up, moderate, and make the technical copies reasonably needed to operate, secure, maintain and provide Titan.
That licence is limited to purposes connected with running Titan. It is not ownership, and it does not let Titan license your work onward for unrelated commercial use.
If you delete content, Titan will stop using it for ordinary service purposes as soon as is reasonably practicable — subject to backups, forum continuity, moderation and security records, evidence preservation, dispute resolution, and legal obligations, all of which are described in the Privacy Policy.
Only post things you have the right to post. Do not knowingly upload material that infringes somebody’s copyright, trademark, privacy, confidential information, or other legal rights. Titan may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material where that is reasonably appropriate.
Anything you post in a public area may be visible to anyone. Do not post publicly what you would not want to be public.
Other people may copy, quote, screenshot, cache, index, or archive public material independently of Titan, and Titan cannot guarantee the removal of copies it did not make.
Titan may remove or edit content that breaks these terms or the Rules, and may do so without notice where the content is unlawful or harmful.
You are welcome to suggest things. Titan may use general ideas, suggestions, bug reports and feedback to improve the service without owing you payment merely because you suggested it. That does not transfer ownership of separately copyrightable material you submit unless you agree to that separately.
Please do not send confidential business information through an ordinary feedback channel.
Direct messages are not shown publicly. They are also not end-to-end encrypted, so private does not mean technically inaccessible to Titan.
What the software actually permits is narrower than that sentence suggests, and it is set out in full in the Privacy Policy: our moderation team reaches a conversation through an open report on a message in it, not through a role or a rank, and that access closes when the case does.
Reporting a message is therefore what makes it reviewable. If somebody is harassing, threatening, or scamming you in a private conversation, report it.
Outside that route, Titan may access private communications only where it is reasonably necessary — to operate or repair the service, to investigate a serious security incident, to respond to a credible risk to somebody’s safety, to address a serious safeguarding concern, to comply with the law, or to establish or defend legal rights.
Except for third-party material and your own content, Titan or its licensors own the intellectual property in Titan’s original name and branding, website design, software, code, custom graphics, documentation, databases, plugins, tools, and original game systems.
Nothing in these terms gives you a right to use them beyond using the service normally. Do not claim ownership of Titan’s intellectual property or reproduce it commercially without permission.
Nothing here claims ownership over Minecraft intellectual property belonging to Mojang or Microsoft — see Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft.
When live Checkout opens, Titan will initially sell four in-game ranks only: VIP for AUD 7.00, VIP+ for AUD 13.00, TVIP for AUD 20.00, and TVIP+ for AUD 29.00. Each price recurs monthly until cancelled. Titan is not GST-registered, so no GST is charged or included in these amounts. Gift cards and Star Dust are not available to buy or redeem in this release.
A paid rank is a licence to use the published benefits on Titan's Minecraft service. It is not property, currency, a forum staff grant, or a forum title, and has no value outside Titan. Live Checkout remains unavailable until the product page publishes the exact perks and limitations that will form part of the transaction.
Buying something does not buy immunity from the Rules. A banned account keeps its ban whatever it has purchased. A game or forum restriction does not automatically cancel recurring billing; use Billing to cancel if you no longer want a renewal.
A forum account and its verified Minecraft UUID may hold one rank subscription with one rank tier at a time. You must link the Minecraft account before Checkout or a plan change. The entitlement is delivered to that linked UUID and cannot be reassigned by entering a different name at Checkout.
The subscription renews monthly using the payment method held by Stripe. Before confirming an upgrade, Titan shows Stripe's exact prorated amount for the remaining paid period. The higher rank takes effect only after that invoice succeeds; if authentication or another payment step is required, Stripe provides a hosted invoice to complete it.
A downgrade has no immediate credit or rank change. It is scheduled for the end of the current paid period, when the lower price and rank begin. You may remove a pending downgrade from Billing without cancelling the subscription.
Cancellation is available through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from Account Billing. It takes effect at the end of the current paid period: future renewals stop, and the current rank remains until that period ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund time already supplied, subject always to your consumer rights.
Stripe may retry a failed renewal for a limited Smart Retry period. Titan may keep the current rank during that finite recovery window and will show a billing warning. If Stripe reaches an authoritative no-access state such as unpaid, cancelled, or incomplete-expired, the game entitlement is removed. Restoring access requires Stripe to confirm a paid, active subscription; a browser success page alone never grants the rank.
You must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before making a real-money purchase, and you must be authorised to use the payment method.
Nobody may use another person’s card, payment account, or a family member’s payment details without that person’s permission. Titan may cancel or refund an unauthorised transaction where that is appropriate or legally required, and repeated or deliberate payment fraud may lead to account restrictions.
The rank is normally visible after payment succeeds, Stripe's signed webhook is processed, and the game server completes its next entitlement poll. Those steps can cause a short delay.
If you have paid for something that has not arrived, contact Titan before buying it again. Titan may restore the item, correct the account, retry delivery, provide an equivalent remedy, or refund the transaction, as the situation warrants.
Stripe's Customer Portal provides invoice history. Keep your own confirmation as well. For billing support, use support@titanmp.net.
Titan may operate an account-based virtual currency, including Star Dust. Unless Titan expressly says otherwise, a virtual currency:
Star Dust may be purchased, earned, awarded, or granted through a promotion. Titan may distinguish purchased balances from promotional ones where that matters for accounting, refunds, fraud prevention, or technical reasons.
Unless Titan provides an authorised transfer system, you must not sell, buy, trade, auction, exchange, or transfer Titan accounts, Star Dust, ranks, or other Titan entitlements for real-world money or value outside Titan.
Titan may restrict a transaction it reasonably suspects involves fraud, money laundering, account theft, unauthorised resale, or payment abuse.
Spending purchased virtual currency normally counts as using that balance. Titan is not required to convert unused currency back into cash merely because you changed your mind, except where the law requires a remedy.
If a purchase of virtual currency is lawfully refunded, Titan may remove the corresponding currency, items bought with it, or equivalent value, so that the same value is not received twice. Titan will not deliberately remove more than is reasonably necessary to correct the refunded transaction.
Titan does not operate an absolute “no refunds under any circumstances” policy, and will not use one.
Unless the law requires it or Titan expressly offers it, Titan is not obliged to refund you solely because you changed your mind, stopped playing, no longer want a cosmetic, bought the wrong item despite an accurate description, or would now prefer something else. Titan may still choose to refund in those cases, and sometimes will.
If something you paid for is materially different from its description, is not supplied, is defective, is unusable because of a problem Titan is responsible for, or is otherwise subject to a remedy the law requires, Titan will provide that remedy. Depending on the circumstances that may mean correction, re-delivery, replacement, account credit, a partial refund, or a full refund.
Rank payments recur monthly at the AUD price displayed before Checkout. Titan does not charge GST while it is not GST-registered. The store explains what the rank includes, the billing frequency, proration for upgrades, the renewal date for downgrades, and how to cancel before confirmation.
Cancelling stops future renewals at the end of the paid period; it does not automatically refund that supplied period. Titan does not charge an early-termination fee. Any material future price increase requires reasonable notice and a fair chance to cancel before it takes effect.
If you do not recognise a transaction, contact Titan and your payment provider. Raising a dispute is not by itself misconduct, and Titan will not punish an account simply to stop somebody exercising a legitimate consumer right.
While a dispute is being investigated, Titan may temporarily withhold the benefits attached to the disputed transaction. Titan may act further where there is reasonable evidence of deliberate payment fraud, repeated abusive chargebacks, use of stolen payment information, or a deliberate attempt to keep purchased benefits after reversing payment.
Titan may cancel a transaction, withhold delivery, remove fraudulently obtained benefits, restrict payment functionality, preserve transaction records, or suspend an account where that is reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to suspected fraud. Serious fraud may be referred to payment processors, financial institutions, providers, or authorities where lawful.
A suspension or ban does not by itself create a right to a refund for digital benefits you can no longer use, where the cause was your own substantiated serious breach. That does not remove any refund, guarantee, or remedy the law requires, and Titan will not impose a sanction principally to avoid supplying something paid for or providing a legitimate remedy.
Titan may run promotions, competitions, giveaways, seasonal rewards, or events. Where extra terms are provided for one, they form part of the conditions for it, and they will not require anything that breaks applicable platform rules or law.
Titan may take proportionate action where there are reasonable grounds to believe an account has breached these terms, the Rules, the law, or a legitimate security or safety requirement. That can include warnings, content removal, temporary restrictions, chat or trading restrictions, feature restrictions, suspension, removal of improperly obtained items or currency, server bans, forum bans, or account closure.
What each action means, and how it is decided, is in the Rules. The action depends on the circumstances — not every breach warrants the same sanction.
Titan may impose an immediate temporary restriction where it is reasonably necessary to protect somebody, prevent continuing harm, protect Titan’s systems, secure a compromised account, stop active cheating, investigate serious fraud, preserve evidence, or comply with the law.
A precautionary restriction is not a final finding, and Titan may act without prior notice where there is a risk to members, to the service, or of harm continuing.
Titan may consider reasonably relevant evidence, including server and forum logs, chat records, private messages where lawfully accessible, transaction records, anti-cheat information, screenshots, recordings, account records, reports, observations from authorised Titan personnel, information supplied voluntarily, and relevant off-platform material.
Evidence is assessed in context, and no single technical signal is treated as conclusive on its own. Titan may reject evidence it reasonably believes is fabricated, manipulated, incomplete, unreliable, irrelevant, or unlawfully obtained in circumstances where relying on it would be inappropriate.
You may report suspected breaches through Titan’s reporting systems. Reports should be made in good faith.
You must not knowingly fabricate or alter evidence, make a deliberately false allegation, impersonate a reporter, use reports to harass somebody, or repeatedly submit baseless reports. A report that does not succeed is not thereby an abusive one.
You are not necessarily entitled to know who reported you, who supplied evidence, what confidential evidence said, what internal notes record, or exactly what action was taken against somebody else.
Moderation decisions can be appealed. Start at Appeals — that route stays open to you even while a restriction is in force, and it is deliberately not behind any acknowledgement or gate.
An appeal does not guarantee reversal. Titan may consider whether the original decision was supported by evidence, any new evidence, procedural errors, context, proportionality, previous relevant conduct, and whether circumstances have materially changed.
Titan may limit repeated appeals about the same decision once a fair opportunity for review has been given.
Titan is an evolving online service. We do not promise that the website or the Minecraft servers will be available at any particular time, that they will be free of faults, or that any feature will keep working the way it does today — unless Titan has expressly given a specific service-level commitment.
Services may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, hosting or network failures, Minecraft updates, security incidents, attacks, third-party outages, or events outside Titan’s reasonable control. Titan will take reasonable steps to restore them.
Maintenance, downtime, world resets, season changes, feature removals and the loss of in-game progress are ordinary events for a Minecraft server. Titan will give notice where it reasonably can, but cannot always.
Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. Titan operates backups for its own recovery purposes, and they are not a personal archive service.
Titan may make reasonable changes to game balance, features, interfaces, server configuration, maps, economies, ranks, cosmetics, security systems, moderation tools, and technical infrastructure — for balance, safety, security, bug fixes, performance, legal or Minecraft compliance, abuse prevention, or development.
Titan will not use that to arbitrarily remove something you paid for without regard to your consumer rights. Where a change materially and adversely affects a prepaid or recurring paid service, Titan will consider the reason for it, the remaining paid period, whether an equivalent replacement is possible, the applicable law, and whether a refund, credit, or cancellation right is appropriate — and will communicate a planned adverse change in advance where practicable.
Titan may label a feature beta, preview, experimental, or early access. Those may contain bugs, change substantially, or be withdrawn. A beta label will not be used to avoid an obligation the law attaches to a paid service.
Titan may permanently discontinue a service for commercial, technical, legal, security, or operational reasons, and will give reasonable notice where practicable.
If Titan discontinues a prepaid service before the paid period ends for reasons unrelated to your breach, it will provide the refund or remedy the law requires, and may also offer a replacement, credit, or equivalent benefit.
You may stop using Titan at any time. To have your account removed, make a request from your data settings; the Privacy Policy explains what is deleted, what is kept, and why.
Closing an account does not necessarily erase public posts, records needed to keep forum discussions intact, moderation records, security records, transaction records, or information Titan is lawfully entitled or required to keep.
Titan may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated Rules breaches, fraud, cheating, punishment evasion, serious harassment, safety concerns, account compromise, unlawful activity, security threats, age ineligibility, a material breach of these terms, or a legal requirement. Titan will consider proportionality and the circumstances where reasonably practicable.
You must not evade an active restriction through another account, somebody else’s account, a new Minecraft account, technical measures, or an account transfer. Titan may take reasonable measures to identify evasion, and technical similarities alone will not be treated as conclusive proof of identity.
Some things survive the end of this agreement, because they have to: the permission you granted for content that remains on Titan or in moderation records, anything owed for a purchase already made, and the sections on liability and governing law.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Titan does not promise that every service will always be uninterrupted, that every defect will be fixed immediately, that gameplay will never change, that other members will always behave well, that every moderation decision will be right first time, or that third-party services will remain available.
To the extent the law allows, Titan is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for lost in-game progress or items, or for loss caused by another member’s conduct.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything a consumer law says cannot be excluded.
You are responsible for your own unlawful or prohibited use of Titan. Nothing here makes you responsible for events outside your reasonable control, or for loss the law places on Titan.
Titan relies on third parties for hosting, authentication, payments, anti-bot protection, databases, networking, and other infrastructure. Which ones, and what they receive, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Titan is responsible for its own obligations, but does not control every action or outage of an independent provider. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms.
Titan may link to sites it does not operate. A link does not mean Titan endorses, controls, or guarantees that service. Review its terms and privacy practices before using it.
Titan’s operator may transfer the operation of Titan as part of a business sale, restructure, merger, or acquisition, provided applicable law is followed. Members will be notified of a material change in the legal operator where that is required.
A transfer does not by itself remove consumer rights that have already arisen, and personal information stays subject to privacy law and the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia — the law of the state or territory in which Titan’s operator is based, together with the applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.
That does not remove a mandatory right or protection that the law of your own country requires to apply to you.
Before anything formal, please contact us. Most disputes about a moderation decision are resolved through Appeals, and most others by asking at Support.
That does not stop you from:
These terms do not require arbitration and contain no class-action waiver.
Titan may change these terms where reasonably necessary because of changes to the service, the law, Minecraft or Microsoft requirements, payment systems, security, moderation processes, or infrastructure.
When the change is substantive, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page changes with it, and Titan will give reasonable notice where that is required or appropriate.
The date is also recorded against your account when you agree to these terms at sign-up, so it is always possible to establish which version you accepted.
Continuing to use Titan after a change means you accept the updated terms, where that method of acceptance is legally effective. Where the law requires express agreement to a particular change, Titan will ask for it. If you do not agree, you can close your account as described above.
Titan will not rely on this section as an unrestricted right to make materially adverse changes to an existing paid arrangement without regard to your rights and remedies.
The Rules may change more often than these terms, because new gameplay systems, exploits, and forms of abuse appear faster than contracts do.
Titan should not retrospectively punish conduct that was permitted when it happened merely because a rule was introduced afterwards — unless that conduct already breached these terms, the law, or a rule already in force.
Questions about these terms, in the order worth trying:
