How Titan uses cookies and browser storage, why each item is used, who provides it, and how long it remains.

Titan uses cookies and browser storage to maintain signed-in sessions, protect account forms, remember choices you make, and support optional features that you choose to use.
Titan does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, tag managers, or browser storage for cross-site profiling or marketing.
Information stored on Titan’s servers, rather than in your browser, is covered by the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small records stored by your browser and sent with relevant requests. Titan uses them for authentication. Cloudflare may use its own temporary storage when its bot check is displayed.

Titan Auth cookies use SameSite=Lax and, on the live HTTPS site, Secure. Titan Auth’s browser client requires access to the session tokens so it can maintain the session, so these cookies are not marked HttpOnly.
Local storage remains available after the browser is closed. It is not sent to Titan automatically with every request.

Session storage is limited to the current browser tab and is removed when that tab is closed.

If you enable push notifications, your browser stores a notification permission, a service-worker registration, and a push subscription. Titan’s service worker is used only to receive notifications; it does not cache forum pages or their content.
The push subscription remains until you disable it, the browser revokes it, or you clear the site’s data. The browser controls the notification permission and service-worker registration, which may remain after a subscription is disabled. You can manage the subscription in account preferences and the permission in your browser settings.
Forum post drafts are stored against your account on Titan’s servers so they can be available on another device. They are not browser storage and are covered by the Privacy Policy.
You can clear or block stored data for Titan through your browser settings. Depending on what you remove or block:
challenges.cloudflare.com may prevent sign-up, sign-in, or password-reset forms from completing their bot check.Signing out through Titan also invalidates the session on the server, rather than only removing its local cookie.
Titan will update this policy and the “Last updated” date when its use of cookies or browser storage changes materially.
