Hey everyone — we've spent the past few weeks working hard behind the scenes to make the
network run smoother. Here's a short rundown of what that changed on your end.
This update was mostly about performance. Menus, the marketplace, shops, your balance,
your home list and profile screens all open noticeably faster now, and the short delay
between clicking something and it actually happening is largely gone. Players connecting
from far away from the server will feel the difference the most.
We also fixed ping spikes. The sudden ping jumps and brief freezes when joining, after
teleporting and while moving quickly are gone, along with the blank, stuck join screen
and the few seconds of hanging in mid-air after a teleport. Switching between servers is
much cleaner too: losing your sidebar, ghost entities left on screen and the occasional
unexpected disconnect during a switch have all been fixed.
On Bedrock, slow block breaking and flickering blocks are fixed, and the ping shown on
your phone is now correct. The Asia region is live, our server list entry has been redesigned,
Hindi has been added and voice chat is more stable.
