Only permanent bans that are in force right now appear here. Temporary suspensions and mutes are not listed — a public list of who is muted until Thursday punishes people twice for something small. A ban that is revoked disappears from this page immediately; nothing here is a historical archive.
A ban that is being appealed is not listed while the appeal is open. Somebody contesting a punishment has not had it upheld yet, and a page that names them in the meantime has already done its damage by the time the appeal succeeds. The entry appears if the appeal is refused, and never appears if it is granted.
The name shown is the in-game name recorded at the time the ban was issued. Minecraft names can be changed, so it may not be the name that account uses today, and it is not a link to anybody’s profile. A ban against an account that never had a game name on record is still counted here, without a name against it.
No reason is published. Not the note written about the ban and not the category it was filed under — a label beside somebody’s name reads as a public finding of fact, and this page is not the place one gets made. Nor does it show who issued the ban, any account identifier or address, how many points anything carried, or anything at all about a member who is not banned. None of that is hidden from the display; none of it is read from the database in the first place.
If you are on this list, your own record — including the reason written for you — is at your appeals page, and it can be appealed from there. A ban does not stop you appealing it. The rules explain how enforcement works, and the privacy policy explains what is kept and for how long.
